Course profile & German Exams
There is a maximum of 10 students per group of german learners. In this way, we can convey theory and practice in communicative instruction, in which both grammar questions and speaking practice are thoroughly covered. Regular assessments are made to test the respective knowledge of our participants and make sure that every student is in the right course for them.
For example - our STANDARD-German course
Group tuition with 5 to 10 students, 5 days a week, 4 hours of instruction a day (one hour of instruction = 45 minutes). Every day of tuition includes a grammar and a conversation section, both of which comprise 2 hours of instruction before and after a 15-minute break. The course takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. or from 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. and is taught by two alternating teachers.

Previous knowledge is not necessary! Beginner courses start on the first Monday of every month. Students with previous knowledge can start on any Monday. Booking this course allows the student to apply for a student visa (if necessary). We offer a school identification card. Reduced fare for public transportation is available for enrolments of of 4 weeks or more.
Additional programmes - Our extras
Mornings: Special german courses, thematic lessons with up to 5 weekly hours on 1 to 5 days, one unit per day. In addition to the levelled courses, we also offers topically-centred courses: Literature (Mon), Grammar (Tue), Cultural Studies (Wed), Phonetics (Thu) and Business German (Fri) from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. You can book these topical courses individually or by the week in our school office.
Evenings: Free time and Culture programme. Group outings, such as city tours and museum visits, and also trips to Dresden, Weimar or Rostock are on the programme as well as film evenings and our student get-togethers. All programmes are accompanied by a teacher and are free (with the exception of entrance fees).
German Exams - We can help
Our german language courses are designed to prepare you for official language exams. As a licensed testing centre, every month we administer the tests Start Deutsch 1 and 2, das Zertifikat Deutsch, Zertifikat Deutsch PLUS and Zertifikat Deutsch für den Beruf, levels A1 to B2. We also offer special courses for other exams, such as Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung, the "German College and University Entrance Exam" as well as the Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung and the Kleine or Große Deutsche Sprachdiplom. And naturally at the end of your course, you will receive a certificate of completion from our school.
